Studies in history go far beyond simple memorization, teaching you to think about things from multiple angles and make persuasive arguments, both extremely valuable skills for professionals in any field. 历史 allows you to develop these skills while focusing on whatever interests you.
With an in-depth study of a broad spectrum of geographical regions and cultural traditions, supported by a solid grounding in historical 研究 methods, 分析思考, 写作和口语, you'll receive a strong liberal arts education. You'll have the opportunity to choose from a variety of electives from the department's offerings in the histories of the United States, 欧洲, 亚洲和非洲.
Frostburg’s 历史 program uniquely prepares you with its focus on engagement and hands-on experiences, using role-playing games in the classroom, special topic courses and internship opportunities to develop your abilities in and about the real world.

Pick your preference with concentrations in International 历史 and 历史 of the Americas, or build on another degree or interest with a history minor.
